Take a stroll down movie memory lane with an exhibition in Nova’s foyer taking a nostalgic look at cinema at Nova over the last 30 years.

Some 200 guests attended the inaugural “Lights, Camera, Donate’ fundraiser at Lygon Court to help support the launch of The Salvo’s Carlton Cafe – a heart-warming concept giving the homeless and those doing it tough an inviting space with welcoming interiors a place to dine and connect with people. The cafe will also act as a safe space for support.
Over $25,000 was raised on the night, together with boxes of pantry items. On behalf of the Salvation Army we would like to thank Cinema Nova, Transmission Films, Mars Gallery, Atong Atem and all the guests who attended for their support.
The film LIVING was a fabulous film, enjoyed by all and is now showing at Cinema Nova. Bill Nighy puts in a career-best performance – this is 2023’s must see movie.

Creative Cubes Pitch For A Spot + Open day
Thursday May 12 was a fun-filled day, kicked off with a tour of CreativeCubes.Co Carlton, a meeting with the dedicated onsite Happiness Team, sampled goodies from our partners and of course, everybody received a complimentary pass to use the space for the day!
Then… after a 2 year hiatus, CreativeCubes.Co, in partnership with Salesforce, ran Pitch For A Spot!
An unmissable night of networking, drinks, nibbles and the opportunity to watch founders, entrepreneurs and creators pitch to our panel of judges for 12 months rent-free at CreativeCubes.Co was had!

In celebration of THE FRENCH DISPATCH, in its seventh hit week – and in tribute to a beloved director – the Nova Bar was transformed into Café Le Sans Blague! With a drink or light refreshment you were able to wander the world of Ennui-sur-Blasé, inspired by the film as well as Anderson’s broader filmography.

The bakers at Brunetti Classico were elbow-deep in flour, sugar and spice preparing Easter treats leading up to the weekends celebrations. Hot cross buns and chocolate egg treats were available on Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Easter Sunday and on Easter Monday.
Cinema Nova featured a great selection of movies.

Classic Italian gelato was enjoyed at Brunetti’s Classico pop up shop this summer.
On December 2nd Brunetti Classico launched it’s newest most delicious cannoli cone.
Melbourne Fashion Week 2021
During Melbourne Fashion Week 2021, the Italian Chamber of Commerce transformed @CreativeCubes.Co function area into a live catwalk.
Guests got an up and close look at bespoke handcrafted couture by Italian brand Atelier Milano and were treated to a delicious spread from @BrunettiClassico.
A great night was had by all!
